This all day every day VertiBaX (VB119) was originally a personal invention, helping the owner of VertiBaX Ltd manage his own lower back pain. Following an L5/S1 discectomy and then a road traffic accident in 2000, he experienced severe life changing, permanent pain in the lower back. He also lost full range of motion in one leg. As a result the future looked bleak, and out of desperation, a way of managing the pain, and in an attempt to maintain the regained leg movement, the VertiBaX was born - although at the time, it was an unusually shaped piece of neoprene, with some strategically positioned elastic.
The VertiBaX name came a few years later, a local doctor who knew his medical condition and lower back injury history, suggested that others could benefit from such a device. Second one I've bought very comfortable and give warmth and support to lower back only reason had to buy a second was after about 4 years of wear the Velcro starts to give out.

This was easy to put on and stayed in place under clothes, keeping my lower back warm. I didn't expect it to be this good!
