Thank you for taking the time to understand how VertiBaX Core Muscle Belts and Supports help with managing lower back pain all day every day and during active tasks. This is our unique story:
Since officially launching in 2006, following 5 years of product development, VertiBaX Ltd have been:
1. Delivering revolutionary lower back belts and supports directly to the public, medical practitioners, the NHS and local authority health and safety departments.
2. Registered with the Medicines and Healthcare Products Regulatory Agency (MHRA) as a manufacturer of Class 1 orthopaedic support devices.
3. Investing capital into academic research projects to further understand the mechanics behind the use of Class 1 orthopaedic support and postural aids, in the management of lower back pain.
The VertiBaX brand evolved from the naming of a product developed out of necessity, by the founding and current owner, Angus Macnab. The need was simple; to help manage persistent lower back pain caused by a road traffic accident in 2000, all day every day. Using biochemical and gym instructor knowledge, a Core Lumbar range of lower back belts and supports was developed, warming core muscle groups using natural body heat, whilst stabilising vertebrae in the lower back at the L5/S1 level of the spine.
The all day every day, VB119 Core Lumbar Healthcare Sensory Belt passed through the Boots Centre for Innovation in 2010 and has since become a lower back pain management aid of choice for many.
All VertiBaX products are designed in Yorkshire, UK, and manufactured in Cornwall, UK, by our team of specialist product engineers.
Building upon our academic understandings, VertiBaX have devised experiments at the Allied Health Research Centre, in the North of England, to investigate motion biomechanics with and without the VertiBaX Core Muscle Belts during activities of daily living.
From its early beginnings in 2000, it was recognised that different levels of activity cause different levels of impact on the biomechanics of the body, and as a results different levels of sense and support are required to manage lower back pain effectively. The outcome of this has been the production of three Core Lumbar back belt/support products:
Having worked alongside paediatric physiotherapists caring for children with cerebral palsy, VertiBaX developed the child back support belt, which is currently being used across the UK in NHS paediatric clinics.
With over 20 years of experience working in the back care industry, our customers are able to benefit from a full range of back care products, delivered by SUPPORT4PHYSIO, complimenting the use of VertiBaX Core Muscle Belts and Supports in managing lower back pain.
Our SUPPORT4PHYSIO/Amazon store has received 5 star service over the last 20 years of trading.
