With a background in education, it seemed only natural to use the success of VertiBaX Core Lumbar back belts and supports, to fund and lead academic research. We are very fortunate to be able to carry out our research at the Allied Health Research Unit, in the North of England. Our focus is to further understand the link between core muscle/back/lumbar support belt use, in the management of chronic lower back pain. This is completed through the analysis of biomechanical data, muscle excitation data and clinical feedback from patients. As part of the scientific research community, we are able to discuss and pass on our findings to clinicians working with lower back pain patients, across the UK and world, thereby helping with the day to day management, during activities of daily living.
